How to get VIP for free:

1. Rate up to 60 pix every 24 hours at ® 0.05 rays = ® 3.00
2. Rate 20 profiles every 24 hours at ® 0.10 rays = ® 2.00
3. View 20 profiles every 24 hours at ® 0.10 = ® 2.00
4. Rate 4 blogs every 24 hours at ® 0.25 = ® 1.00
5. Post 1 blog entry every 24 hours at ® 1.00 (and delete if you want)
6. Log into RLC world 2x every 24 hours and get ® 1.25 each time = ® 2.50
7. Log into Social Center (your profile) 4x every 24 hours and get ® 0.25 each time = ® 1.00
8. Upload 40 pics every 1 months (and delete if you want) each month at ® 0.25 = ® 10.00

You will earn ® 12.50 per 24 hour and ® 385.00 per month. That still not include the rays you get from people who view your profile and your blog (® 0.05 each). A month VIP gift is ® 350, so you can get your VIP for free. But you can’t buy VIP for yourself, So you need a friend that have enough rays to buy you a level 6 VIP gift. After you are VIP you can send back the rays.

This post is an attempt to try document some helpful hints for new users of RLC. I havent been online a week yet, and I have discovered some basic challenges that every new user probably faces. Parts of this information is scattered all over the forum.

I have experience with help desk support for PCs, so maybe I can put some of that knowledge to work here.

This is not meant to be all inclusive as a good user manual would be or a replacement of the FAQs, but my goal is to get someone up and running quickly. Just some helpful tips and observations I have made.

Get the right version of software/Know the differences between basic and VIP

First off, make sure you download the right version of the software. If you want the VIP features, you need the full version. The lite version is great to just get started, but you wont get to have sex or enter any of the VIP areas of the game, nor have some of the advanced features in customizing your Avatar. The DirectX installation can take some time, so be patient. I see some many new users asking for things that you cant do as a basic and not knowing what they can do as a VIP. Dont really understand this one a it took me only 30 minute to realize I wanted a VIP membership.

Setup a profile with enough information

From what I can see, this is a much overlooked item. If you dont tell people about yourself, then you will not be getting the kind of people you desire to meet, plain and simple. If I view a profile with nothing but n/a in every category, I dont even engage that person in conversation. The more information you provide the better chances someone who will be compatible with you will find you. My profile is probably overkill, but I learned this lesson a long time ago. Also, the time to look at a profile is BEFORE you start talking to someone. I can tell when someone engages me in conversation, then looks at my profile (the view count goes up by one) then decides yuck, and then just walks away. This has happened a lot to me in since joining and is very rude.

Use the forums

There is a lot of good information in the forums. I spent well over an hour just reading before I entered the game the first time. There is a lot of good information here. A great one page summary of how to use the keyboard is here:
